Bears fans may eventually forgive kicker Cody Parkey for missing the game-winning field goal against the Eagles that would have sent Chicago to the NFC Championship Game, but they’re not close to ready yet.

Bears defensive tackle Akiem Hicks found this out when he decided to hop on Instagram Live during the Pro Bowl, and invited an enthusiastic young fan to join him on the chat. Things went sideways when Hicks asked the kid to say a couple of words to his followers and the kid promptly bashed Cody Parkey. Hicks was caught off guard and decided to cut the feed instead of prolonging the super awkward moment. Probably a good call.

The pitfalls of live social media, example 7 billion.
