For Khabib Nurmagomedov, his UFC 229 fight against Conor Mcgregor was clearly personal, thanks to Mcgregor’s pre-fight comments ripping the Russian fighter’s religion, and accusing his manager of being a ‘terrorist snitch,’ but Khabib got the last laugh.

A mic from the fight picked up a some audio of Khabib taking some time to trash talk Conor while he pounded the Notorious MMA’s face into oblivion in the second round. As the Russian pummeled McGregor he can be overheard saying, “Let’s talk now.” He then mockingly told Conor, ‘talk’ several times as he beat the hell out of him on the canvas.

This is the moment where Mcgregor probably realized he had written a check with his mouth that his butt couldn’t cash.
