The McGregor/Mayweather press tour was often vulgar, full of trash talk, and by the time they got to their fourth stop, they were basically out of material. Some loved them, some hated them.
One fighter who was never out of material was Muhammad Ali. When comes to trash talk as an art, Ali is on another level from current crop. His 1974 ‘I’ll show you how great I am’ speech at the Waldorf Astoria in New York before The Rumble in the Jungle is Ali the showman at his finest.
