Old school football guys have long argued that kickers aren’t really football players, and you can count Vikings Head Coach Mike Zimmer among them.
When Zimmer was asked how the team arrived at the decision to cut kicker Daniel Carlson after he missed 3 field goals, including a potential game winner, he replied with a question of his own, “Did you watch the game?”
When the reporter asked if it was an easy decision, Zimmer added, “Yeah, pretty easy.”
If only Zimmer would stop sugar coating and just let everyone know how he feels.
