Conor McGregor was released from custody on $50,000 bail after being charged with multiple accounts of assault and criminal mischief for attacking a bus full of fighters at the UFC 223 press conference at the Barclays Center on Thursday.
Until now, the only footage of the attack was pieced together from cell phone videos from bystanders, but UFC’s Embedded series has released additional video that gives an up close look at what went down. The clip shows more clearly shows McGregor shattering the bus window and dazed UFC fighter Michael Chiesa with a gash on his forehead as a result. Conor and his entourage can be seen fleeing the Barclays loading dock after the attack concludes like a firm of soccer hooligans.
It also shows Dana White reacting to the chaotic aftermath and the reality that McGregor will be arrested for the stunt.
For those that think the whole thing was a UFC orchestrated publicity stunt, a highly produced video from UFC promoting the headline news will only create more skepticism. Whether it was all planned or not, you can watch it here.
