Most parents can hardly contain their excitement in the stands when their kid scores a touchdown, scores a goal, or makes a big bucket. It’s a little harder to impress pops when he played in the NBA at an all-star level for more than a decade.

Last night during the Knicks 115-108 loss to the Pistons in Detroit, Tim Hardaway, Jr. hit a sweet stepback jumper at the halftime buzzer, but when the camera went to the crowd to get Tim Hardaway, Sr.’s reaction he wasn’t high-fiving and pumping his fist like a proud papa, instead he sat stone faced like someone just informed him that his dog just died.

Watch Tim Hardaway do the opposite of bursting with pride.
