Gronk and Tom Brady have opted not to show up for the Patriots offseason workout program, fueling rumors that the Patriot players are revolting against the longstanding Bill Belichick dictatorship.
In true Gronk fashion, he addressed the hot topic at, of all places, a press conference promoting yesterday’s Monster Energy AMA supercross event at Gillette Stadium. Dressed in full supercross racing gear, Gronk said he skipped last week’s team workouts, “Training for this dirtbiking.” He added he wouldn’t be at future workouts because, “I’ve got dirtbiking skills to work on.”

He was also asked if he was definitely returning to play next year. Gronk’s response? “Um. maybe.”
Gronk is obviously joking about the dirtbiking, but you can bet Belichick isn’t laughing. At some point he’s just going to start trading everyone not named Tom Brady and put an end to the ‘revolt.’
