Kevin Durant had 29 in the Warriors Game 5 loss to the Rockets, but struggled with an inefficient 8-22 from the field.
During a break in the second half action, Kerr attempted to encourage Durant to get his teammates more involved by sharing a story from his playing days about Michael Jordan heeding the advice of Phil Jackson to trust his teammates.
Apparently the story din’t do the trick because the Warriors lost the game, 98-94, and Durant finished with zero assists and went scoreless in the fourth quarter. They’ll have to win Game 6 to avoid elimination. Cool story, though.
