The Rams acquired Marcus Peters from the Chiefs with the hope that he can provide some attitude to the L.A. secondary. Based on Peters mic’d up performance during a joint practice against the Ravens, that shouldn’t be a problem.
Peters talked plenty of trash while shutting down Baltimore wideouts, and even jumped a route for a pick during the session. He also got in a dig on Lamar Jackson, saying the rookie QB was “playing Madden,” presumably meaning he wasn’t reading the defense.
With Peters and Aqib Talib blanketing receivers, the Rams won’t lack in the smack talking department. Watch Peters yapping to anyone that will listen.
