When it comes to taking dives, World Cup players have a hair trigger. Even die hard soccer heads would admit it can get a little embarrassing.

In today’s group stage match win over Morocco, Portugal defender Pepe submitted his entry for dive of the tournament when he collapsed to the ground like he was hit with a baseball bat after being patted on the back by a Moroccan defender during extra time.

Prayers up for Pepe. We hope he can return for Portugal’s next match.

What the hell, Pepe?! 😳 lmao this is hilarious 😂🤣🤣🤣🤦🏻‍♀️ #PORMAR #WorldCup pic.twitter.com/URIbvDFZxg
