One of the realities of living in 2018 is that everyone has a camera and you need to watch what you say and do because there’s a good chance it could be caught on video.

Some Ottawa Senators players learned this lesson the hard way when an Uber dashcam recorded them trashing their team and coaches during a recent night out in Phoenix. The seven players that shared the ride, including Matt Duchene, Chris Wideman, Chris Tierney and Thomas Chabot openly trashed the Sens’ sub par special teams and mocked assistant coach Marty Raymond for being clueless.

Obviously, they were unaware they were being filmed. The group of players has since apologized for their comments, but it probably won’t make work any less awkward this week. If you ever wanted to be a fly on the wall to see how frustrated players talk about their team and coach when no one else is around, have a watch.
