Plenty of jokes have been made, including on this site, about Tim Tebow’s attempt to play professional baseball, but last night something happened during one of his at-bats that beats the plot to a Hollywood movie.
In a video posted to the Tampa Bay Times website, Tebow leaves the on-deck circle to greet a young autistic fan who worked up the courage to say hi to him. He makes the kids day, and then promptly walks to the plate and crushes a home run. We’ll go ahead and say he definitely hit it for the young fan.
The mother of the young kid filmed the whole thing and it’s incredible. Tim Tebow makes miracles happen. Must be dusty in here.
