Celtics’ breakout rookie star Jason Tatum revealed during the playoffs that he has intensely studied Kobe Bryant’s offensive game, and a new video shows just how much his bag of tricks mirrors the Mamba’s.

The excellently edited clip seamlessly switches back and forth from Kobe going through his arsenal, followed by Tatum almost identically pulling off the same moves. From the shake and fadeaway to the Kobe crossover, it’s so similar it’s kind of weird.

Seriously, Tatum wants to become Mamba 2.0. The Celtics would probably be okay with that.

Much like how Kobe studied MJ before him, Jayson Tatum has been doing the same with his idol. He’s been learning his moves since his early days in high school and slowly breaking them out. pic.twitter.com/Dbahc9s5W4
