In today’s make or break group stage match, Argentina broke a 1-1 deadlock with Nigeria thanks to a perfectly struck volley by Marcos Rojos in the 86th minute that found the back of the net. The goal advanced Messi’s crew to the knock out round and sent just about every Argentine on the planet into a frenzy.

The life or death significance of the moment was perfectly summed up by the call of Argentine broadcaster Pablo Giralt, who had, what can best be described as an out of body experience while unleashing a flood of every conceivable human emotion all at once in giving the epic play-by-play. After he finished, he was clearly overcome by the gravity of the moment and nearly brought to tears. Top that Marv Albert.

If you still don’t understand how much the World Cup means to every other country on Earth, watch this. It’s a totally different ballgame. This is pretty damn powerful. You don’t need to understand a word of this to completely understand everything he’s saying.

NUNCA SE ATREVAN A DARSE POR VENCIDO!
