Collin Sexton is known as the “Young Bull” because he’s ultra competitive and doesn’t back down. Even in high school, the #8 pick in the draft wasn’t afraid of going at anyone, even when that person was a former NBA all-star point guard.

During a 2016 game between Sexton’s Pebblebrook High School and a Memphis East team coached by former NBA star Penny Hardaway at the City of Palms Classic, Young Bull took exception to a foul and proceeded to tell Penny that his son – an East player – was “trash,” as he stepped to the free throw line.

Memphis East ended up winning the game 76-74, so Penny got the last laugh. Some will say this overly cocky, some will say it shows the competitive streak you want in an NBA point guard. You be the judge.
