Minor league baseball managers have turned ejections into over the top performance art, and last night former major league second baseman, and current manger of the independent league Chicago Dogs, Butch Hobson pulled off another classic after getting tossed.

After getting ejected, Hobson walked to home plate and hit an imaginary home run, and put the cherry on top of this sundae by trotting around the bases and pointing to the sky after he crossed home plate.

Independent league baseball. Come for the mediocre baseball, stay for the awesome manager ejections..

The Chicago Dogs make their first-ever visit to Lawrence-Dumont Stadium tonight. Former MLB manager Butch Hobson will be with them, riding a one-game hitting streak after this “home run” last night in Sioux City 😂 pic.twitter.com/5HkHFFuRtp
