Whether you agreed or disagreed with the firing of Mike McCarthy as Green Bay’s head coach, it’s impossible to argue that he didn’t love the organization and had a lot of success running the show.

After being informed that he’d coached his final game with the Packers last Sunday, McCarthy was able to address the team and later took an incognito night trip to Lambeau field to say goodbye to the historic venue that’s as much of a living, breathing part of the organization as any of the players that pass through. The flags were at half staff in honor of George H.W. Bush, which made it more special.

McCarthy filmed while he took in the atmosphere, sent it to Jay Glazer, and we’re glad he did. His old Packers team also started the moving on process by drilling the Falcons 34-20 in Week 14.

Major feels.
