VIDEO: Matthew McConaughey’s motivational speech to the Longhorn baseball team was alright (alright, alright)

Matthew McConaughey rose to fame as super chill former, car lovin’, ganja burning, ex-high school football player David Wooderson in the Texas based cult classic Dazed and Confused.

In real life, McConaughey is a huge University of Texas sports fan so when he was invited to give the Longhorn baseball team a pep-talk ahead of their postseason regional matchup earlier this week, he jumped at it faster than Wooderson on a redhead at the Moon Tower.

Not surprisingly, the speech was a super chill bro down and Matt got philosophical with the guys to get them going. Dropping some gems like, “It’s ding, ding. It’s go time.” “It’s liiiiive. Take one.”

Texas baseball. Matthew McCounaughey gets older, but they stay the same age.

We had a special guest and very familiar face stop by the clubhouse this morning. Preciate you, @McConaughey! #HookEm 🤘 pic.twitter.com/vPMsljsYqi
