The NBA has been in a state of shock since Boogie Cousins took the mid level exemption to sign with the Warriors on a 1-year deal. One person who isn’t worried is LaVar Ball.

Ball, who was relatively quiet leading up to LeBron signing with the Lakers is apparently ready to talk again, and make crazy proclamations. When TMZ caught up with him at a Junior Basketball League event, he said he hopes LeBron will win four, but guaranteed two chips once all three of his sons join the team. It’s unclear what position LiAngelo is going to play. Maybe usher?

Unsurprisingly, he also wasn’t intimidated by the Warriors signing Boogie Cousins:

“The Warriors can sign Boogie, Prince, Michael Jordan, anybody they want. They still ain’t gonna win with this team right here. Lakers with LeBron? You don’t give my son the best player in the game and don’t think he’s gonna win championships.”

LaVar seems to be unmuted. It will be interesting to see how long LeBron and Magic put up with him throwing out bulletin board material before they start looking to ship Lonzo to Siberia, or Memphis. Same thing.
