The Browns didn’t deserve the Hall of Fame career of retiring tackle Joe Thomas. He played every snap for more than a decade on a perennial loser while protecting roughly 900 different quarterbacks, but still did his job at the highest level despite being surrounded by utter ineptitude. He also never left.
Thomas addressed the media during his emotional retirement press conference yesterday, but also used part of it to poke fun at the dumpster fire that he played for during his entire career. Thomas gave the ether to failed former GM’s Ray Farmer and Sashi Brown. Former coaches Eric Mangini, Kyle Shanahan. And former occupants of the QB carousel Brandon Weeden, Johnny Manziel, and RGIII.
It was all in good fun, plus, after enduring the Browns for 11-years, he’s entitled to roast whoever he wants.
Watch Joe T go in during his farewell.
