The action from the Olympic halfpipe skiing competition is filled with totally amped riders defying the laws of gravity with jaw dropping big air tricks. Well, most of the time.
Elizabeth Swaney is a 34-year-old Northern Californian who somehow grabbed a spot on the Hungarian ski team. She must not have tried out because the coaches would have quickly found out that she isn’t capable of doing any tricks.
On a run from her dead last performance in Pyeongchang, the ‘skier’ barely cleared the lip of the pipe and only managed to pull of a novice trick most 6-year-olds in Aspen can do. The announcers staying totally serious the whole time without pointing out the obvious disaster gives the video a Best in Show quality.
This is the Fergie national anthem of Olympic halfpipe runs. Enjoy.
