VIDEO: Hard Knocks shows former Browns WR Corey Coleman requesting trade after 2nd team demotion

The Browns have been one of the more entertaining Hard Knocks in years, and one of the more anticipated storylines from this week’s episode was the backstory of what led to 2016  1st round pick Corey Coleman being shipped to Buffalo for a 2020 7th round pick.

The episode detailed OC Todd Haley explicitly ripping Coleman for giving up on a ball over the middle, which led to his demotion to backup. This prompted Coleman to ask Hue Jackson for a trade, and a cut to a scene of his locker being cleaned out. The NFL is a bottom line business, and Coleman learned that lesson the hard way.
