Phoenix Suns owner Robert Sarver has guided a one-time proud franchise into the deepest depths of the abyss, but even as his team looks to tank for the fifth year in a row he’s battling with the Phoenix City Council over $150 million in funding to renovate the 30-year old Talking Stick Resort Arena.

If the city and Sarver can’t reach an agreement by 2022, the Suns could relocate and – according to reporting this week – Sarver has told several members of the city council that he would move his team to either Las Vegas or Seattle.

Sarver received predictable blowback from his relocation comments, but it was nothing compared to the evisceration he received from an elderly woman named Greta Rodgers, who ripped Sarver on everything from his inability to build a winner, to just flat out calling him cheap. Not surprisingly, Rodgers doesn’t want to give one penny to help Sarver in his quest for a hundred million in taxpayer funds to help prop up his franchise.

There’s lighting someone up, then there’s this bodybagging, courtesy of Greta Rodgers. Get some Sarver.
