Drew Brees and Philip Rivers have long been established as two of the premiere quarterbacks in the NFL, and during joint practices leading up to the preseason the future Hall of Famers and their merry band of backups decided to square off in a QB competition for bragging rights.
The competition has been going on all week, and involves all the QB’s on each roster throwing at targets to accumulate points. Yesterday, the Saints won for the second day in a row, thanks to Brees and his minions showing off some nice accuracy. Rivers had a chance to tie, but missed his last throw. We’re not drawing any long term conclusions over the results here, but it’s a fun watch to get you a little Friday football fix.
