VIDEO: Draymond Green told LeBron he shouldn’t hesitate to say he’s the best player in the world

Draymond Green and LeBron James have had a contentious on court rivalry after four straight Finals matchups and an on-court confrontation that led to Green’s Game 5 suspension in 2016. Off the court, however, the two get a long fine.

On last night’s premiere of LeBron’s – not Nick Saban’s – barbershop-style talk show, James was joined by Odell Beckham and Draymond (and Jon Stewart?), who gave a somewhat surprising – and explicit – take when the conversation shifted to whether James is the best basketball player alive.

Green enthusiastically said LeBron should believe he’s the best player alive and shouldn’t hesitate to let the world know about it. Green added that James has come into his own in the last 4 years because he has become more comfortable in his own skin, which has elevated him to icon status.

Draymond should probably expect an incoming tweet from a Kevin Durant burner account in 3…2…1…
