No one cares about the NBA regular season, especially at the end when playoff spots are locked up and teams are playing out the final games of the year.
After the Clippers game last night, Doc Rivers told an incredible story about a meaningless late season game in Miami during his time in Boston when he tried to intentionally get kicked out of the game so he and GM Danny Ainge could watch Tiger make a run in the Masters.
After getting the green light from Ainge, Rivers said he did his best to get tossed, but was unsuccessful. The ref he was trying to get to throw him out was on to his plot and told Rivers that he would rather be watching golf, too. Sadly, Doc never managed get ejected and was forced to endure the rest of the game.
