The reloaded Browns are hoping to buck 20 years of losing and turn the ‘Factory of Sadness’ into a winner, and among those hoping to do the seemingly impossible is wide receiver Jarvis Landry. If Landry’s performance on the season premiere of HBO’s Hard Knocks is any indication, the relentless losing may be about to end.
During a wide receivers meeting, Landry stood up before his teammates and basically called out anyone in the room who wasn’t all in to practice and compete everyday to be great. With help of plenty of explicit language, Landry put his foot in the ground and said the losing culture is done.
The Browns have needed this speech since 1999, but better late than never. These Browns feel a little different.
