VIDEO: Brady discusses his A.W.O.L. offseason and his plans to play until 45 in new ‘Tom vs. Time’

Tom Brady is heading into his 20th NFL season after an offseason where he continued to assert his independence over Bill Belichick and “The Patriot Way” by skipping the team OTA’s and offseason workout program.

Many fans wondered what Brady was up to during his A.W.O.L. offseason, and in a newly released episode of Tom vs. Time Brady explained that he decided to change up his offseason to spend more time with his family, and to break up what had become a monotonous routine over the course of his long career.

He also briefly mentions the controversy surrounding him and the Pats last season, and how he really doesn’t care about the noise anymore. Watch here:
