NFL players use the preseason and training camp to knock the rust off before the games actually count, but Patriots coach Bill Belichick is already in midseason form.
In a halftime interview of New England’s 26-17 win, Belichick passed on loading his team with the rat poison that is praise, and instead gave a doomsday recap of his team’s performance. Coach said the Pats needed to do everything better, and weren’t good enough in any area. He did concede that his team played 38 seconds of football on a late 2nd quarter score.
