Bill Belichick press conferences after a win can seem like a hostage standoff after a win, but yesterday’s meeting with the media after the Patriots’ crushing, walk off loss on the Miami Miracle was it’s own special kind of awkward. Shockingly, Bill wasn’t feeling chatty, but the best part was the 30-seconds of uncomfortable silence and stewing in the middle when he just stares down reporters until they shrink in their sport coats. Who wants to ask the nice man a question?

In all honestly, he acts like the most devastating regular season loss in recent NFL history was like losing the final preseason game. Just below the surface, you can sense he’s stewing with pure raging anger over his decision to put Gronk in the game on defense.

Here’s the 30 seconds of silence that feels like an hour.
