Nazare, Portugal is known for having some of the biggest waves on Earth, and was the site of where Brazilian Rodrigo Koxa set the world record by riding an 80-foot monster swell, last year. Fast forward to this year and a less succesfull attempt by 21-year-Old Australian big wave pro Russell Bierke tried to make it down a giant 60-footer and ended up on the wrong side of exchange.

Bierks looked like he had it until he didn’t have it. Incredibly he was okay and picked up by a jet ski without any major injuries. This is like having a house fall on you.
