Michael Jordan is the greatest basketball player to ever walk the face of the Earth, but he’s also legendarily petty. When it came to young players he felt might be coming for his crown, Jordan never left any doubt who was the big dog, including a young Allen Iverson.

In a recent interview with Complex, A.I. recounted his first ever meeting with his childhood idol before he was about to play in the rookie game during All-Star weekend, and MJ wasn’t in the mood to make new friends. Instead he greeted Iverson by callin him a ‘little b—‘. Iverson was taken aback by the greeting but just took it because it was Michael Jordan.

The two became friends, but Iverson said Jordan was still salty about getting hit with this all-time crossover.
