Like most athletic phenoms, Mike Tyson showed signs that he would become a dominant force at an early age.

In a rarely seen fight from the Tyson archives that we spotted while down a Tyson rabbit hole, an unknown 15-year-old Tyson faced off against some tomato can named Joe Cortez in the 1981 Junior Olympic title fight. At 15, Tyson looked like a full-grown man, and laid out Cortez flat on the canvas with a devastating first round KO.

You feel bad for Cortez like you feel for kids in LeBron’s high school highlights. Dude never had a chance. Watch the replay to see a better angle of Tyson turning the lights out.
