Comedian Nick Kroll joined The Herd this week, and talked to Colin about what it was like to work with current and former NBA stars on the set of Uncle Drew.

Kroll began filming with Kyrie Irving, Shaq, and other NBA legends when the rumor mill started about Kyrie being traded. The former star of The League was actually with Kyrie when on the found out he was being moved to Boston last season, and shared the story.

“Lil Rel… Rel Howery… has talked about literally being on-set with Kyrie and his brother comes up to him,” Kroll said. “[He] whispers something in his ear. They finish the take, and Kyrie runs off set to celebrate.”

Who would’ve thought that Gil Faizon would be the man to have the inside scoop on one of the biggest NBA trades in the past ten years?

Colin also has mentioned Nick Kroll and John Mulaney’s opening monologue from the Spirit awards on multiple occasions. Take Colin’s word on this, it will be the funniest damn thing you’ll watch all day.

Another Nick Kroll classic is this sketch from The Kroll Show about drone pilots that is freaking hysterical.
