Bill Belichick has developed a rightly deserved reputation as being prickly with the media, and not having much of a sense of humor during game weeks, but in his first NFL head coaching gig with the Browns he was willing to jump through more hoops.
During his mid-90’s tenure with the Cleveland, before he was a winning coach, Belichick appeared on an awful local Cleveland sports show for a “cooking segment” to make his famous peanut butter and jelly sandwich. He explained the secret is putting peanut butter on both sides of the bread so the jelly doesn’t leak through the bread. Genius.
There’s something surreal about seeing Belichick do something that is unimaginably beneath him that’s must watch. It’s so bad it’s painful.
