#TBT: Pistol Pete torches the Knicks for a career-high 68, before there was a three-point shot

Pistol Pete Maravich is one of the rare NBA players that could play in any era. There’s no question he would have thrived in the modern three ball era because he could shoot from anywhere and one of the most ridiculous passers ever.

For those that haven’t seen a ton of Maravich highlights, these highlights from his career high 68 against the Knicks on February 25, 1977, in New Orleans. The fact there wasn’t a three-point shot at the time makes it more impressive. He also had 6 assists and the Jazz won the game 124-107.

The Pistol had it going on this night. Sit back and watch him go to work.
