If you heard an annoying, incessant whistling throughout yesterday’s NFC Championship, you weren’t the only one. Even Colin brought it up on Twitter to make sure he wasn’t going crazy and the only one hearing it.

Anyone else hearing actual whistles in crowd? Or just my TV ?

The whistling was most definitely real, and the man behind the non-stop annoying sound is an aptly named Saints Superfan named ‘The Whistle Monsta,’ and surprise, surprise, his trademark thing is non-stop whistling.

Did anyone hear the #whistle man? #Saints

Here’s a piece a local New Orleans newspaper did on the man behind the sounds, and let’s just say the dude loves whistling, and the Saints. For the record, the sound itself is all natural, not a ref whistle. He was just born with the gift of being able to whistle louder than 10 Phil Jacksons.

Lucky us.
