Zion should never play at Duke again
Presumed #1 overall pick Zion Williamson sent a shockwave through social media last night when he went down with a knee injury in a bizarre sequence were he blew it out his shoe. Basketball fans everywhere gasped, hoping Williamson didn’t sustain a knee injury that could affect his draft stock and Superman-like abilities.
Luckily, the injury wasn’t serious, but the debate was immediately raging if Zion should continue to play for Duke when he’s 100% healthy, or shut it down and protect any further risk that could harm his draft stock. Colin thinks Zion should make the smart business move and end his college career. While Duke and Zion is a fun story, and some will argue that he’s quitting on his team when he shuts it down, he’s a generational talent that is NBA ready. Ruining that while playing for free after an injury scare just wouldn’t be right.
