LeBron James’ ego led to his downfall against the Warriors
LeBron James is staring down his 5th Finals loss against a Golden State team for which he has no answers. There isn’t much the Cavs can do at this point other than wait for the inevitable. Whitlock thinks LeBron deserves a large part of the blame and it’s time for people to stop treating the King as an untouchable who sits above criticism.
Whitlock pointed out that the Cavs roster is hand picked by LeBron and stacked with inflated contracts for ineffective players. The Cavs are stuck with JR Smith and Tristan Thompson, in large part because they were signed to inflated contracts at the request of GM LeBron.
LeBron is an all-time player, but he should shoulder a large part of the blame for the Cavs inability to play with the Warriors.
