Trust LeBron to figure it out

After a putting together a long win streak earlier in the year, the Cavs have hit a low point in the season in January. Last night they lost to Golden State, and were clearly the inferior team. Many fans and media have proclaimed that the Cavs are in trouble and may not even make it out of the Eastern Conference, but Colin is betting on LeBron.

LeBron teams seemingly always struggle this time of year, but always rebounds come playoff time. Colin doesn’t think this year will be any different. He believes Cleveland needs to make a deal before the trade deadline to upgrade their roster, but when the postseason starts, count on LeBron to come out of the East, again. Just like the past 7 seasons.

Coaching should have prevented Stefon Diggs’ game-winning TD

Saints rookie defensive back Marcus Williams will live in eternal infamy as a scapegoat for his whiffed tackle on Stefon Diggs, that led to the game-winning touchdown in their Divisional playoff game. Obviously, Williams deserves blame for his role in the debacle, but Colin thinks that Saints coaches should share in the blame.

It’s inexcusable that Williams wasn’t coached up to forego launching himself, in favor of just wrapping up Diggs and keeping him in bounds. It’s like a broken record, but this meltdown would have never occurred against a Belichick coached team.
