Tom Brady never gets sympathy like Aaron Rodgers when he loses players
When the Packers announced they were releasing wide receiver Jordy Nelson yesterday, the media showed sympathy for Aaron Rodgers losing his favorite target. The narrative that Rodgers can’t contend for Super Bowls because he doesn’t have a supporting cast is an accepted one, but Colin pointed out that Brady has been losing top players for years, including his favorite receivers, and has never been afforded the same pass. All he does is keep making Super Bowls while losing far more key players than Rodgers.
The Cardinals are in danger of disappearing in the NFC West
After early success in during Bruce Arians’ tenure as coach, the Cardinals are coming off two straight 8 loss seasons and, as of now, are entering next season with always injured Sam Bradford at quarterback. With every other team in the division set with a franchise quarterback, Arizona could be in for a long stay in the NFC West basement if they don’t find an answer.
Colin thinks the Cardinals need to do whatever it takes to move into the top of the draft to get a quarterback. If they don’t they’re in big trouble.
