Tom Brady has earned the right to have Alex Guerrero around
Tom Brady hung up during a Boston radio interview after questions about his trainer Alex Guerrero rejoining the team, and the media predictably freaked out. Colin thinks after 18 years and a pile of Super Bowl trophies that the 42-year-old Brady has earned the right to have Guerrero around if it will extend his career.
In the NBA, superstars’ “teams” are accommodated without question. The idea of Brady having 1/10 of that power and having his own trainer around shouldn’t be controversial.
Darnold has proved he should start for the Jets
Colin had initially said that the Jets would be better off beginning the season with Teddy Bridgewater as the starter so Sam Darnold could learn while watching, but after watching Darnold’s last 2 preseason starts he’s changed his mind.
Colin has never been shy about changing his opinion when he gets new information, and after seeing Darnold’s last two starts he thinks the gap between Bridgewater and Darnold has become so small, the Jets should go with Darnold and trade Bridgewater for picks or an offensive lineman.
