Time for Philly to move on from Embiid
Colin has been getting bombarded with hate tweets since saying the Sixers would end up in neutral like OKC if they choose to build around Embiid, but the Toronto series is more than proving his point.
Embiid stunk it up in a blowout Game 5 loss to the Raptors (13 points, 8 TO’s), a game that the Sixers had to win, and showed why he’s too inconsistent to be a franchise player. He’s an immense talent, but he’s oft injured, frequently unavailable, and these issues will only continue to get worse as he ages. Philly should move Embiid while he still has value, and move on from ‘The Process,’ which now boasts of struggling Ben Simmons as its big prize.
