The Rockets aren’t ready to beat the Warriors
The Rockets dropped Game 2 of their second round playoff series against the Jazz, thanks in large part to shooting an abysmal 10-37 from 3. Colin likes the Rockets, but he thought the game exposed their biggest weakness.
Unlike the Warriors, who can win by adapting to an tempo or style of play, the Rockets have to hit a high volume of threes to win. When they’re off, like last night, they’re in trouble. The same thing happened to Mike D’Antoni’s teams in Phoenix. They aren’t ready to beat Golden State and win a title.
The Cowboys’ brand dwarfs all other NFL franchises
Jason Witten finally announced that he’s moving on from the NFL to the Monday Night Football booth as the lead color analyst after 14 years with Dallas. With Witten, 3 of the 4 major network #1 game analysts are now ex-Cowboys, and Colin thinks the demand for Witten is further evidence that the Dallas brand still dwarfs all other NFL franchises.
