Roger Goodell deserves credit for moving the NFL Draft
Roger Goodell is the most hated commissioner in professional sports. The media hates him and he’s an easy target. Some of the criticisms of Goodell are warranted, but Colin thinks he deserves a ton of credit for deciding to take the NFL Draft out New York, exclusively, and move to different NFL cities.
The Philly draft was entertaining. It was entertainment. It was a home run for the NFL. It’s not cool to say it, but Roger Goodell deserves the credit.
“That was awesome, and Goodell deserves credit for it.”
LeBron is going to blow MJ away in every major statistical category by the time he retires
Michael Jordan is considered by most as the greatest NBA player. By the time he retires, LeBron will have blown him away in every major statistical category.
Jordan fans always point to his 7 rings as non-negotiable proof that he’s the greatest ever, Colin doesn’t see it that way. Jordan had superior teammates when he came into the league, and was joined shortly thereafter by Horace Grant and Hall of Famer Scottie Pippen. The best player Lebron played with in his first seven years in the NBA? Zydrunas Ilgauskas.
If LeBron had been surrounded by anywhere close to the talent level that superstars like Magic, Bird and Jordan had at the front end of their careers, LeBron would have more career rings than Michael, too.
“He’s going to blow Michael away in points, rebounds, assists, field goal percentage and Finals appearances.”
