The NBA is moving away from Russell Westbrook

Russell Westbrook severely struggled with a 14-point night on a miserable 5-20 shooting (1-6 from 3) in the Thunder’s Game 2 opening round loss to the Blazers. Colin has long been critical of Westbrook’s playing style, and triple-double obsession, but today he actually feels sorry for Russ because his game is incapable of winning in today’s 3-point-centric NBA.

Westbrook is the NBA equivalent of what’s happened to running backs in the now pass happy NFL. Colin could have piled on Westbrook today and taken a victory lap, but he actually feels sympathy for him.
