The Celtics will win it all in 2019
The Celtics are poised to advance to the second round of the NBA Playoffs and are doing it without their two best players, Kyrie Irving and Gordon Hayward. Colin doesn’t think a shorthanded Boston has the firepower to seriously contend this year, but has been thoroughly impressed with Brad Stevens masterful coaching job and the progression of Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown.
He thinks that the Celtics, with a healthy Hayward, Irving, and possibly another key offseason addition, will win it all in 2019, even if that means going through Golden State.
The Browns are going to butcher the first pick
The NFL Draft kicks off tomorrow and the Browns are on the clock. In a make or break draft for the franchise, reports say they are considering either Baker Mayfield or Josh Allen with the first pick. Colin has been clear about his concerns with Mayfield’s immaturity, and thinks Allen could be a massive bust. He has said for months that Sam Darnold is the best quarterback in the draft and should be a no-brainer at #1, but it looks like the Browns are going to butcher the pick, yet again. Cleveland just can’t get out of their own way.
