Steph over KD as an all-time scorer
In a recent interview, swingman Andre Iguodala recently said that Kevin Durant is the most talented scorer in NBA history, calling him a “walking 30 points.” Colin doesn’t dispute KD can fill it up, but doesn’t think he’s even the best scorer on his own team.
As far as all-time goes, Colin will take Steph Curry over Durant, not only because he can fill it up, but because he’s revolutionized the NBA with a three-point shot. KD can score in bunches, but he hasn’t changed the game, unless the game is firing back at Twitter trolls.
Gruden’s Raiders feel like a dumpster fire waiting to happen
2 years ago, Colin was all-in on the Raiders and Derek Carr, but times have changed. Despite optimism in Oakland with the hiring of Jon Gruden, Colin sees a dumpster fire waiting to happen.
Since Gruden has taken over, he’s made questionable personnel decisions, including cutting Pro Bowl punter Marquette King, trading a third round pick for often suspended wideout Martavis Bryant, and making some head scratching draft picks. He’s also burning the bridge with 2016 NFL defensive MVP Khalil Mack. Add in the lame duck stadium situation in Oakland, and the Raiders feel more likely to capsize than make a playoff run.
