Steph Curry gets a free pass for everything
Kyrie Irving was by Steph Curry’s side when he set the internet on fire by trolling LeBron James’ viral workout routine at Harrison Barnes’ wedding. Even though it was a private event, both Irving and Curry were clearly aware they were being recorded, and that the video would likely go viral.
Colin pointed out that Curry is never held to account for anything he does, from simulating taking a dump on the court, throwing his mouth piece, taunting more than any other NBA player, or playing poorly in a Finals loss to the Cavs.
Maybe it’s because he isn’t imposing physically, or because he’s a suburban kid, but whatever the reason he’s Teflon to criticism. Meanwhile, LeBron still gets tagged for having a bad Finals in 2011 and ‘The Decision.’
“Steph Curry gets a total free pass when he taunts, when he trolls, when he celebrates…it’s Brett Favre-esque.”
