Steelers win, but their season’s over
The Steelers and backup QB Mason Rudolph got a Monday Night win in Big Ben’s absence, but Colin was so unimpressed he’s ready to declare their season is over.
While Rudolph posted a solid completion percentage, it’s clear Mike Tomlin doesn’t trust him to stretch the field and make the necessary throws it takes to win now. Although it’s unclear what he’ll eventually develop into, it’s abundantly clear he’s not leading them to the playoffs this season. You have to respect Pittsburgh’s aggressive moves, and never say die franchise mentality, but they aren’t going anywhere this year.
